Meaning Behind Our Name

Boddie-Noell (pronounced ‘body knoll’)- two Boddie brothers teamed up with their uncle, Mr. Noell, in a business venture .  

Enterprise - defined as a project or undertaking that is especially bold, hard, or important; energy and initiative.   

Boddie-Noell is a family business. We are one of the country’s largest privately held companies. From the beginning, in 1962, our number one enterprise has been Hardee’s restaurants. We opened one of the first, in Fayetteville, NC. Over the years, we have continued to grow and diversify. Today, we operate over 330 Hardee’s restaurants and we’ve branched into other new ventures and exciting business opportunities.
