Applebee’s is the World’s largest Casual Dining restaurant chain with close to 2000 restaurants worldwide. Known for its casual atmosphere and diverse “American” menu, the concept has prospered through a strategic growth plan and through a commitment to excellence from the parent company, Applebee’s Services Inc., and over 40 franchise groups. We are Neighborhood Restaurant Partners Florida (NRP Florida), one of these franchisees, operating Applebee’s for the last twenty years throughout the Central Florida area encompassing Tampa Bay, Orlando, Ocala and the Space Coast. We currently have over 50 locations stretching north along the west coast from Bradenton to Ocala and east from Clearwater, through Tampa and Orlando to the Central East Coast of Florida. With one to three new store openings a year, we anticipate growth totaling over 75 units within our market.
Applebee’s is marketed as a neighborhood grill & bar. Each Applebee’s reflects the neighborhood in which it is located. The decor further conveys this theme with photographs and memorabilia highlighting hometown heroes, local schools and area history. A typical Applebee’s unit is approximately 5000 square feet and seats about 220 patrons. Applebee’s provides great food, reasonable prices and quality service in a casual, neighborhood setting. The menu offers a wide range of choices from appetizers and salads to steak, chicken and ribs. Average guest check ranges from $9.50 – $14.00. Each restaurant has a central full bar surrounded by several raised dining areas. Over the years, Applebee’s has become a great late night gathering place in Tampa Bay and Orlando, since most of our units are open until 2 a.m. We are also a popular destination for both lunch and dinner, since we provide fast, friendly service at reasonable prices. The staff for a typical Applebee’s consists of one General Manager, one Kitchen Manager, three Assistant Managers and approximately 75 hourly employees.

$32,000-$42,000 base salaries PLUS MONTHLY Bonus’

All restaurant managers start at the Assistant Manager level.

QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY: You must have a minimum of 2 years current full service salaried restaurant management experience, with current experience in the Casual Dining chain market. We seek experience in both FOH and BOH. Since our bar business constitutes up to 25% of our total sales in some units, experience serving and/or managing alcohol is preferred. Candidates who have earned a degree specializing in restaurant management from an accredited institution will also be considered. Candidates must give consent to a criminal, credit and driving background check as a condition of employment.
